Our Cleaning Promise: Clear Expectations Before We Begin
Inviting a cleaning team into your home takes trust. You deserve to know what is included, how your price is set, and what happens if your home needs more work than the appointment allows.
Why we wrote this
A recent appointment ended before cleaning began because we could not agree on a plan we believed we could complete well. The customer was understandably frustrated, and they were not charged. We stand behind the decision to decline work we could not confidently deliver, and the experience pushed us to make our booking explanations clearer.
Here is what you can expect from Bravo Maids.
Your home details help us plan
We ask for the full bedroom count, bathroom count, and square footage, along with the areas needing attention. Rooms you want left untouched can be noted separately. Excluding rooms does not reduce the whole-home rate.
If it has been a while, you can tell us
Homes need help for all kinds of reasons. Describe the work honestly, and we will talk through what kind of appointment fits. A few photos or a quick conversation can help us plan before the team arrives. You do not need to feel embarrassed to ask.
We confirm the work before starting
Every visit begins with a walkthrough so the team understands your priorities and the cleaning needs. If something materially differs from the booking, we explain it and talk through the options. Any revised price requires your approval.
A flat price is not a race
For the agreed flat-rate scope, taking longer does not by itself raise your price. We plan each appointment around the work, the team, and our commitments to other customers.
Sometimes the responsible answer is a different plan
More time or a different appointment may be the right call. Occasionally we may decline to begin because we cannot confidently deliver the result you expect. We only charge after a cleaning is completed, so if we decide not to begin, you are not charged for that visit.
What we changed
- Our pricing page and booking form now explain whole-home pricing right beside your home details, and the booking form asks you to confirm you entered the full size of your home.
- The booking form lets you tell us about substantial buildup or a firm finish time. When you do, a member of our team reviews the details and contacts you before the appointment is final.
- Our quote, booking confirmation, and pre-visit emails remind you to tell us if anything has changed, and that any revised price needs your approval.
- Our Terms describe the arrival walkthrough, and say plainly that nothing is held or charged on your card before your visit.
- Our team confirms the plan with you before starting whenever a material difference is found.
How your price is set
The short version
Our whole-home cleaning price is based on your home's full bedroom count, bathroom count, square footage, selected service, and the cleaning needs you describe. Leaving individual rooms or tasks out does not reduce the whole-home rate.
We confirm the work with an arrival walkthrough. If the home details, condition, or requested work differ materially from the booking, we will explain the difference and discuss available options before starting. Any revised price requires your approval. If we cannot agree on work we can confidently complete within the available appointment, we may need to reschedule or decline to begin.
For an agreed flat-rate cleaning, taking longer than expected does not by itself increase your price. We only charge after a cleaning is completed, so if we decide not to begin, you are not charged for that visit.
What our pricing supports
Your price pays for background-checked cleaners who earn $30+ an hour, $2M in liability insurance, and our satisfaction guarantee. These commitments guide how we schedule, price, and carry out every visit.
Contact us within 24 hours of your cleaning and we will come back to re-clean the areas in question at no charge. The details are in our Terms and Conditions.
Common questions
Can I lower the price by skipping rooms?
Our whole-home services are priced using the entire home's size and cleaning needs. Skipping individual rooms or tasks does not reduce that rate. We can note priorities and exclusions without changing what the booking includes. Our Kitchen + Bath Steam Blast is a separate standalone service with its own fixed scope; it is not a reduced version of a whole-home cleaning.
Is a deep clean suitable if my home has substantial buildup?
It may be, but some homes need more planning than a routine deep-clean appointment allows. Tell us about areas needing extra work, blocked surfaces, renovation residue, or other concerns before booking. We may ask for a few photos or a conversation to assess the work. Our goal is to plan realistically and treat your home respectfully.
Can my price change when the team arrives?
A flat-rate cleaning does not cost more simply because it takes longer. If the team finds materially different home details, condition, or requested work, we will explain the differences and any proposed adjustment before starting. You must approve a revised price. If we cannot agree on a workable service, we may reschedule or decline to begin.
Will I be charged if Bravo Maids declines before starting?
No. We only charge after a cleaning is completed. If we decide not to begin after the arrival walkthrough, you are not charged for that visit. Our cancellation fee applies only when you cancel or reschedule a booked visit with less than 48 hours' notice.
Do you share photos of my home?
Photos we request to assess or document your cleaning are used only for service planning and quality review. We do not publish them for marketing or in review disputes without your separate, specific permission.
