Zone separation is the load-bearing idea

A medical or dental suite is not one space that gets cleaned. It is three: treatment areas, transition areas such as corridors and staff rooms, and public areas including the waiting room and reception. The protocol's central rule is that equipment, cloths, and mop heads do not travel between those zones — each has its own dedicated, color-coded set, staged and stored separately.

This is the difference between a cleaning vendor and a practice-appropriate cleaning vendor, and it is invisible on a walkthrough. A suite can look spotless while a single microfiber cloth has moved from an operatory to a reception desk. Zone separation removes that possibility structurally rather than relying on someone remembering.

Sequence and direction

Within a zone, work runs high to low and clean to soiled, in a fixed room order, with a defined directional path through each room. High-touch points — door hardware, light switches, chair controls, cabinet pulls, keyboards and shared screens at reception — are handled as their own explicit pass rather than being folded into general wiping, because they are the points most likely to be missed and the ones that matter most.

Bravo Maids runs a steam-first protocol here as elsewhere: vapor at roughly 275°F paired with professional surfactants. In a practice setting the practical advantages are reduced chemical odor in a space where patients sit for extended periods, and far less residue left on hard surfaces and floors.

Documentation and vendor vetting

Practice managers are accountable for their vendor file, so the protocol covers what a cleaning service should be able to hand you without being asked: proof of insurance, background-check attestation for every specialist entering the suite, a defined scope by room and zone, and a per-visit service record. Bravo Maids carries $2M in liability coverage and issues a Verified Steam-Clean Receipt documenting each completed visit.

The guide closes with eleven questions to put to any prospective vendor. Several are deliberately uncomfortable — they are the ones whose answers separate a service that has thought about a medical environment from one that treats it as a larger house.

Rather hand it to someone?

Place was immaculate when they finished. I walked in and it legit smelled brand new — not that fake lemon cleaner smell either. They hit every corner.

Excellent work. Steamed the kitchen and 2 bathrooms. Organized the closets, took stains off the carpets along with the other usual stuff. House was clinically clean.

Hired Bravo Maids for both our move-out clean and our move-in clean. They gave us a quote for a great price for both services combined.
